The park’s amphitheater is a great place to catch ranger programs (in season), have a seat, or stargaze. The amphitheater is also the trailhead for South Side and Valley View trails and has great views of the prairie dog town. The amphitheater is wheelchair accessible from the Belle Fourche River Campground or picnic area parking lot. Sidewalk leads from both locations to the amphitheater, which is also paved. There is accessible parking spaces in the picnic area parking lot.
