McDougal Lake Campground provides easy access to a wide variety of recreational activities including hiking, boating, fishing, picnicking and swimming within the central part of Superior National Forest. This campground has 21 sites with 5 of them available for long term rental. The adjacent boat access and picnic pavilion offer recreational opportunities within the campground area. There are no electrical hook-ups in the campground and all sites are back-in only with most providing enough room for small RVs (24 feet or less). The McDougal Lake Trail at the campground is currently closed due to the Greenwood Fire and is being rehabilitated. Opening date is unknown.
