Sacajawea Memorial Picnic Area is located at an elevation of 7,400 feet. The picnic area is for day use only. This is a secluded area, located at the headwaters of the Missouri River. There is a paved path for strolling the area along with historical interpretive signs to provide additional information to visitors.
