See full state regulationsDeadwood Reservoir is a remote and scenic reservoir in the Boise National Forest offering excellent fishing for rainbow trout and kokanee salmon in a pristine mountain setting. The reservoir is less pressured than many Idaho fisheries due to its remote location, and fish tend to run larger as a result. Boat fishing is productive for kokanee in summer, while shoreline access yields good rainbow trout catches.
