Uplift Climbing

Uplift Climbing is a bouldering gym in Shoreline's North City neighborhood featuring wall angles from 5° to 60°, a 2024 Moon Board, and a Tension Board 2. The gym resets new boulder problems twice weekly and maintains a fitness area with free weights, hangboards, a campus board, and cardio equipment. Uplift offers Boulder Basics classes for beginners, Boulder Primer for skill development, and private coaching for all levels. The gym hosts community events including the Downgrade and Fall Cup competitions, boulder leagues, karaoke nights, and potlucks. Located one mile from Shoreline North Light Rail Station with direct Metro Route #348 access and ample parking, Uplift is part of the Vertical World family, which opened as America's first climbing gym in 1987. Members gain access to Vertical World's full-service locations offering top-rope, lead climbing, and youth programs.
