Jones Pass Guides operates snowcat-assisted skiing and splitboarding in 2,600 acres of permitted terrain in the Arapahoe National Forest near the Continental Divide, with elevations from 10,500 to 12,800 feet. The operation, located 45 minutes from Denver in Empire, Colorado, offers single-seat reservations ($800) and private snowcat trips for groups of 2–18 people, with terrain featuring high alpine bowls, gladed meadows, rock bands, open chutes, and gullies. All trips include lunch from Rudi's Deli, water, and safety gear (backpack, beacon, probe, shovel); demo skis and snowboards are available.

The company also guides backcountry skiing and splitboarding tours for experienced skiers ready to advance their skills, with guided skin tours and descents starting at $350. New scenic snowcat tours ascend to the Continental Divide at sunset with charcuterie picnics, accommodating ages 5 and up. Jones Pass Guides operates seven days a week from December through April, subject to snow conditions, and offers end-of-day après with Hideaway Park Brewery.
