About San Toy
San Toy is a ghost town in Bearfield Township, Perry County, Ohio. In the early 1900s it was a thriving coal community, built and operated by the Sunday Creek Coal Company. Like many company towns tied to a single industry, it faded once that economic engine wound down.
Visitors today will find little more than the quiet rural setting of southeastern Perry County. There are no documented standing structures or formal amenities on record, so this is a destination for those drawn to the atmosphere of forgotten places rather than developed attractions.
