Ragged Top

Ragged Top is a ghost town in Lawrence County, South Dakota, with roots in a mining economy that once drew workers and settlers to the area. The town's downfall came when miners found themselves unable to get their ore to smelters, a logistical obstacle that effectively strangled the settlement's livelihood and sent it into decline.
