About Mill Run

Mill Run is a ghost town in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, that once occupied a spot along the Greenbrier River about two miles south-southwest of Hillsboro. The settlement had faded enough that its last known appearance on USGS maps dates to 1923, leaving little official record of what it once was.

Visitors today will find a riverside setting rather than a townsite with obvious remains. The historical record is thin, so come expecting atmosphere and scenery along the Greenbrier rather than preserved structures or interpretive markers.
