Keystone

Keystone is a ghost town in Adams County, Washington, situated along the Northern Pacific Railroad between Ritzville and Sprague — roughly 16 miles northeast of the former and 10 miles southwest of the latter. Its name traces back to Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, reflecting the roots of an early postmaster who once served the community.

Visitors today will find little more than the remnants of a once-functioning railroad stop set against the open agricultural landscape of eastern Washington. The sparse documentation of Keystone means there are no confirmed standing structures or developed visitor amenities to expect.
