Harmon

Harmon is a ghost town in Washburn County, Wisconsin, situated in the town of Stinnett. It once stood along what is now the Canadian National Railway corridor, roughly 7.8 miles east-southeast of Minong. The town is believed to have taken its name from Thomas Harmon Jr., a politician associated with Newtown.

Documentation of Harmon is sparse. It appeared on USGS maps as late as 1947, suggesting it had faded from active settlement by the mid-twentieth century. Visitors today should expect little to no visible remains — this is a location on a map more than a destination with standing structures.
