About Greendale
Greendale was a small ranching community tucked into the Uinta Mountains of south-central Daggett County, Utah. Little remains of the settlement today, and visitors will find little more than the quiet mountain landscape that once supported a modest ranching way of life.
Access to the area is best attempted in the warmer months, as the Uinta Mountain setting brings heavy snow and difficult travel in winter. Those drawn to ghost towns and remote Utah history can explore the surroundings, but should expect minimal physical remnants and no developed facilities.
