About Annelly
Annelly is a ghost town in Richland Township, Harvey County, Kansas, situated about nine miles southeast of Newton. It once sat along a Missouri Pacific Railroad corridor connecting Newton and Whitewater, giving the community its reason for existence.
Today there is little for a visitor to see. The railroad line that once ran through the area was abandoned in 2003, and as of 2020 the land is privately owned farmland. There are no public facilities, preserved structures, or marked access points to speak of.
