About Adelaide
Adelaide is a ghost town in Fremont County, Colorado, sitting at an elevation of 6,949 feet along Phantom Canyon Road. Once known as Robinson, it served as a mining camp and railroad water stop before fading out of existence.
Visitors today will find a historic townsite with the Adelaide Bridge located just to the north. The scenic Phantom Canyon Road corridor provides the primary draw, making this a worthwhile stop for those interested in Colorado's mining and railroad past.
