Adamsville

Sitting on the south bank of the Gila River at roughly 1,450 feet elevation, Adamsville is a ghost town in Pinal County, Arizona, a short distance west of Florence. It once functioned as a productive farm community before falling into abandonment by the 1920s.

Today Adamsville is a quiet, largely empty stretch of river bottomland. Visitors come mainly to absorb the remote desert setting and photograph what little remains of a once-active agricultural town. Access is typical of rural Pinal County — no formal facilities, no marked trails, and no services on site.
